Technical Profession

- Industrial mechanic field machines and systems engineering
- Certified CNC Specialist/Programmer by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Germany
- Certified Mechanical Engineering Technician

In 1996 I finished my apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic specialised in machine and systems engineering. In 1999 I received my certificate as an industry specialist for CNC technology. I have been working as both a CNC specialist and programmer for over 15 years now.

I have a wide range of controls experience including HURCO Ultimax, HURCO Winmax, Siemens Sinumerik and Fanuc. I have experience of both vertical and horizontal milling and I am comfortable with the whole process, programming, set up and machining.

My special strength lies in single item production and the manufacture of small batches of complex components. I have great experience in prototype manufacturing, tool and mold making. I was responsible for the quality assurance and machine maintenance. I designed jigs and fixtures, and choosed the right manufacturing method for either prototype or for mass production.

I have worked for the automotive, medical and aircraft industry as well as cosmetics.

I am familiar with different materials such as steel, copper, aluminium, brass, plastics, fiberglass, timber and further ones.

I have knowledge in the use of CAD/CAM software (Mastercam, VISI). In addition to CNC milling, I have also experience in CNC turning, grinding, punching and welding.

Since September 2013 I have been doing an advanced training on engineering.
